If there is a group of boys that better define what it means to be a team, we sure don’t know where they are. While there are great teams all over playing ball each summer, this group of young men is built differently. They take so much pride in what it means to work hard, play as a team, and support each other. It’s not something you see on many fields you’ll visit this year. The Knuckleheadz came together in the Fall of 2019 with a passion for the game, a love for each other, and a desire to get better every day. Through hard work, commitment, and great coaching, the Knuckleheadz have spent the past few years, week after week, day after day, honing their skills, pushing each other to be better, and supporting one another through their successes and failures. From the first pitch until their closing prayer, these boys give it their all.
Even better than all of those attributes is their focus on their faith. Through Gameday Baseball the boys live out their motto of Faith, Character, and Excellence. They play the game of baseball the right way, with integrity, with discipline, and with an understanding that all good things come from God. They understand that their abilities on the field are gifts from Him, and they honor the gifts that He has blessed them with by using them to the best of their abilities.
So, come on out to a game and cheer us on some time. Come watch a team of boys who will get you on your feet, make you smile, and show you what the game is supposed to look like.
